Auto Parts of Humanity

Parents are the framework. With a solid frame, it’ll keep us steady.

Siblings are the axles and tires that keep us moving and aligned (even if we experience a few speed bumps along the way).

Friends are the electrical/fuses that keep us connected and tuned in.

Teachers/Mentors are our lights. They teach us and direct us on paths of growth.

Pets and kids are the comfy seats we look forward to enjoying.

Acquaintances are our fluids.

Some overheat us.

Some encourage us along in different gears.

Where others clean our windshields for an unknown better view

Then some need to be changed every so many miles.

No matter what we look like or where we come from, one thing remains, we love and fight while we are here.

When they are gone, we miss a part of our mint-condition selves.

Love today as if tomorrow is not a promise.

Today I am missing one of my favorite teachers/mentors today.

Aunt Jules, although you’re not here physically, your light shines on for us.

Hug a loved one today. You’ll never regret it.
